A short-notice solution for Cyclone Wire

Cyclone Wire required containers to be delivered weekly, sometimes on short notice. So when KiwiRail had issues with capacity on the usual route, the Mackleys team needed to come up with an alternative to continue to provide the required service.

Collaborative solutions

Cyclone containers are required weekly and can be required at short notice, which meant Mackleys needed to come up with an alternative option to continue to provide the required service.

We partnered with our customer, Hemisphere Freight, who specialise in providing efficient coastal and import/export freight services, to provide us with an efficient, reliable and cost-effective coastal option.

The results

By pulling resources, we were able to continue to provide Cyclone with an alternative option to ensure the same level of service is provided.
